MISSION CALL PACKET! It has a complete set of instructions of what you need to
do in preparation for your departure to the field. Below, we answer some
frequently asked questions that we get from missionaries.
Just some
information concerning what and what not to bring to the mission:
- Make sure to bring a pair of twin-sized bed sheets and a pillow case.
- Coats and umbrellas can be bought here in Portugal for a very reasonable price and it would save room in your bag.
- In the mission we do not ride bikes and we have very few cars, so bring your driver’s license.
- Missionaries must read over the Dress and Grooming page on LDS.org on what is the allowed attire in the mission.
- Card games are not permitted in the mission so please leave them at home.
- Do not bring phones, gaming devices, or electronics that are not appropriate for your sacred calling.
- Missionaries coming from the southern hemisphere, remember that the seasons are switched, so bring appropriate clothing in anticipation.
